About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor and certified in EMDR through EMDRIA. I completed graduate school in 2005 and have been working in various settings since then, including in community mental health, assessment, residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment and most recently in tribal mental health. I was trained in EMDR in 2019 and it has been invaluable in assisting clients experiencing symptoms related to traumatic stress. I have continued advanced training and am trained in early EMDR interventions (ASSYST, RTEP, EMD, PRECI), DeTUR and urge reductions, IFS-informed EMDR, working with dissociation, and telehealth delivery. I am also certified as a Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) provider through Unyte Health. I love living in Alaska and now couldn't live anywhere else. My practice is focused on providing EMDR via telehealth to increase access in our state.
