About Me

Jocelyn centers her therapy practice on the distinct values and history of each client. Through extensive personal and professional learning, she is skilled in journeying alongside clients as they process painful life experiences. Over the past ten years, her work in community advocacy and family-based programs has equipped her with the tools to offer individualized support for the whole person. Jocelyn’s involvement with newcomer and refugee families has also taught her the importance of integrating cultural safety, and a respect for diverse ways of being into her practice. Jocelyn believes that connection is essential in our healing, so she aims to create a nurturing environment where clients are encouraged to reconnect with themselves, others, their spiritual beliefs, and the earth. She sees therapy as one avenue toward healing and actively encourages clients as they cultivate relationships beyond the therapy room. As someone who has benefited from therapy herself, Jocelyn understands the significance of engaging with a counsellor who is present and open. Jocelyn is eager to meet you wherever you are on your mental health journey with empathy and nonjudgement – offering a supportive space to explore, heal, and grow toward a more flourishing life.
