About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a background in Expressive Therapies specializing in Music Therapy. Empathy has always been a driving force in my life, setting me on the path to become a professional counselor. I love being a part of the therapeutic process, helping support my clients on their journey of healing and growth. Being able to add music and the arts to this process has opened all kinds of doors to further enhance treatment, and with a strength based approach I am always looking for the best modality to support my clients needs and provide the safest and most comfortable environment possible. When I am not in the office, you can typically find me doing something physically active, playing video games, creating music, entertaining my three cats, or enjoying time with my wife and family.
Education & Experience
I graduated with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling: Expressive Therapies specializing in Music Therapy from Lesley University. I received my undergrad from Southern Connecticut State University. After finishing my master's program I was able to work for Youth Villages as a Master's Level Clinician/Supervisor for 3 years before I moved back to Connecticut. I continued my practice working for Family and Children's Agency as a Clinician/Supervisor working in an adolescent foster care program. In 2022, I began my work learning EMDR at the Center for Neuropotential where I continue to practice today.
