(he/him/his)
Education & Experience
I provide EMDR therapy via telepsychology (a secure teleconferencing platform online) and in person, to clients struggling with anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress, depression, compulsive sexual behavior, and other difficulties. I earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. I completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and have over 10 years of experience in rehabilitation neuropsychology (in a hospital setting) working with patients who suffered from traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neurologic insults. I was also a certified brain injury specialist (CBIS). Following my hospital work, I worked in correctional settings as a telemental health psychologist. As a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT), now I am in full-time private practice where I treat a range of issues but primarily compulsive sexual behavior and underlying trauma and attachment issues. I work with individuals, couples, and groups.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Besides EMDRIA, I am also a member of the International Institute of Trauma & Addiction Professionals (IITAP), and the American Psychological Association (APA), including Division 1 (Society for General Psychology), Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) and Division 56 (Trauma Psychology).
