About Me

Hello and welcome! I’m Johnna Donnelly, and I believe one truth above all: you deserve to feel good—mind, body, and soul. My counseling approach is built on that belief. I help people of all ages heal from stressful, overwhelming, or painful life experiences, and if you’re ready to finally “get unstuck” and move forward, I’m here to guide you. Because healing is never one-size-fits-all, I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to your unique needs and goals. As a Certified EMDRIA Therapist, I specialize in EMDR Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Healing, CBT, and DBT. These powerful modalities work together to release stored stress and trauma, calm the nervous system, and create lasting emotional freedom. I offer in-person sessions as well as virtual therapy for clients in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Vermont, with flexible day, evening, and weekend availability to fit your schedule. Reach out today—and let’s begin your journey toward deeper healing, clarity, and well-being.

Education & Experience

With years of experience walking alongside people on their healing journeys, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients move toward their therapy goals with compassion and clarity. While I specialize in EMDR and trauma-focused therapy, I also work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, and weight-related challenges. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to navigate it alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way. I hold an M.S.E. from Youngstown State University and a B.S.N. from Penn State University, and I’m certified in Hypnotherapy through both the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Rose Heart Institute. This blend of education and training allows me to offer a warm, holistic, and deeply personalized approach to your healing.
