About Me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I help clients process traumatic experiences and other difficult memories in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. I work with children, teens, and adults.

I have experience working with people of all ages, genders, and sexualities who are navigating a wide range of challenges.

Much of my clinical work has focused on adults with co-occurring trauma and substance use. I help clients process traumatic experiences while developing strategies that strengthen recovery, foster resilience, and support long-term well-being.

I also bring an extensive background in Middle Eastern cultures and identities. I have lived, worked, and studied in the region, and have supported clients from diverse Middle Eastern communities. I welcome clients from all cultures, identities, and perspectives.

Education & Experience

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Middle Eastern Studies from Clark University in 2016 and my Master’s in Clinical Social Work (MSW), with a specialization in Global Practice, from Boston College in 2020. I received my LICSW in 2023 and completed EMDR training in 2024.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

Before my private practice, I worked at Advocates Inc for about 6 years as a clinical social worker.
