About Me

Hello, I'm Dr. Jordan Arbelaez, DNP PMHNP, a doctoral psychiatric nurse practitioner with thirteen years of patient care experience. I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice in psychiatry at Columbia University in 2023 and graduated with honors. I also earned a Master of Science from Columbia University, and BS in psychology and chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. I currently serve as a telehealth PMHNP and psychotherapist at Willow Psychiatry and Integrative Psychiatry. I serve NY, NJ, and AL.

I specialize in trauma disorders, perinatal psychiatry, relational abuse/neglect, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and depression. I am a trained EMDR therapist. I believe in making the complexities of psychiatry accessible to all through psychoeducation, empowering individuals to find confidence in their mental health.

As a practitioner, I blend psychopharmacological management and psychotherapy, taking a patient-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to treatment. I am committed to staying updated on the latest research to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. My treatment plans are uniquely tailored to each client's individual needs, with a focus on respecting and incorporating patient values.
