Dr. Jordan Arbelaez, DNP PMHNP is a doctoral psychiatric nurse practitioner with thirteen years of patient care experience. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in psychiatry at Columbia University in 2023 and graduated with honors. She also earned a Master of Science from Columbia University, and BS in psychology and chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. She currently serves as a PMHNP and psychotherapist at the Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders Center (PMAD) in Eatontown, NJ and Integrative Psychiatry in Chelsea, Manhattan, NY. She specializes in trauma disorders, perinatal psychiatry, relational abuse/neglect, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and depression. She is a trained EMDR therapist. She believes in making the complexities of psychiatry accessible to all through psychoeducation, empowering individuals to find confidence in their mental health. As a practitioner, she blends psychopharmacological management and psychotherapy, taking a patient-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to treatment. She is committed to staying updated on the latest research to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Her treatment plans are uniquely tailored to each client's individual needs, with a focus on respecting and incorporating patient values.
