About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor with ten years of experience working in various areas of the mental health field. I have a passion for working with individuals, groups, and families in improving their overall mental health and quality of life.

Education & Experience

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Alabama followed by a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Troy University. I have a clinical focus on trauma and victims of crime with experience working with individuals with complex trauma and trauma related disorders to include toddlers, children, teens, and adults. I am trained in evidence-based treatment modalities to include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I hold a national certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and am a nationally rostered Child-Parent Psychotherapy provider.
