About Me
My name is Joy McCrady and I work with adults both online throughout Maryland and in-person in Severna Park, MD. I work with helpers — parents, caregivers, professionals, faith leaders, first responders, service members, and the people everyone else relies on. I specialize in anxiety and burnout, grief and traumatic loss, and spiritual or religious trauma. I draw on advanced training in Intensive Short-Term Psychodynamic Therapy (ISTDP), EMDR, IFS, and Polyvagal and somatic approaches to help tailor the work to your needs and goals. As a trained pastoral counselor, I can integrate faith into our work if that's meaningful to you.
