About Me

My primary approach to practice is rooted in Humanistic Psychology, with a strong emphasis on Strength-Based approaches. I also integrate techniques from CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, ACT and Mindfulness to tailor the therapy to your unique needs. My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and I later pursued a Master's in Social Work to gain a broader perspective. Additionally, I hold a PhD in Psychology. I am licensed as an LCSW and LISW in Montana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio, which allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, intimate and romantic relationships, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, stress, and trauma. I am comfortable working with clients from a broad range of ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Therapy can sometimes feel challenging at the beginning, and it's normal to feel a bit uneasy as we start to talk about difficult issues. These conversations can make things feel more real and concrete, which can be intimidating. However, my virtual office is a safe and non-judgmental space where we can explore these topics together. My goal is to help you understand how you got to where you are and to develop additional tools to move forward in a more empowered way.
