I specialize in treating trauma-related disorders (everything from acute stress to complex PTSD). I also work with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and issues related to personal growth, life transitions, and interpersonal relationships. I anchor my therapeutic style in a holistic, client-centered, compassionate, culturally competent, and strengths-based foundation. I am a firm believer that you are the expert on your own life. My mission is to assist you in highlighting innate talents and insight that will facilitate emotional healing and wellness. I’m currently trained in various evidenced-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Problem Solving Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, Depression Treatment Quality Improvement Intervention (DTQI), and Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP). I believe in collaborating to design and cultivate a treatment plan that works for YOU and delivers quick and realistic results. I use an integrative approach based on what is most relevant and effective for your specific goals. I invite you to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to get to know each other and go over any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
