Julia A. Parker

Education & Experience

I am dedicated and passionate about walking with clients on their journey to healing. The resilience of the human spirit humbles me. I am client-centered in my approach and strive to create a therapeutic environment and relationship that is founded in trust, genuineness and positive regard. I work closely with clients to help them connect with the moment through mindfulness and their values. I specialize in PTSD, dissociation and have worked extensively with Veterans. Combat trauma, MST (military sexual trauma), other military related traumas, moral injury, survivor's guilt and traumatic loss are my areas of specialty. I have worked with adult survivors of childhood neglect, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, as well as, survivors of domestic violence.
