About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) located and licensed in Oregon. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist who has been providing EMDR therapy since I was trained in 2017. I have a strong background in working with trauma through EMDR, LGBTQIA+ issues, gender affirming care, neurodivergence, chronic illness, and empowerment. I am also a consultant-in-training available to provide individual and/or group consultation virtually. Education & Experience
I have been working in the social services field since 2010 starting in child welfare striving to reunify families or keep them intact then moving into coordinating care for a wraparound program focused on keeping at risk youth out of inpatient facilities. During my time as a care coordinator, I began my MSW program at the University of Illinois. I moved to Oregon to complete my internship hours from August 2016-May 2017 at a residential facility providing substance abuse services to youth. I graduated with my MSW (concentration in mental health) in May 2017 and began providing services in a clinical capacity as both a substance abuse and mental health counselor.
