About Me
I work with high-achieving women who have learned to function beautifully while carrying things they've never had space to put down. A lot of what brings my clients in traces back to trauma, including complex and sexual trauma. But often the struggles they are tired of carrying on the surface look like people-pleasing, perfectionism, and anxiety.
My approach is warm and direct, and grounded in how the nervous system actually works. I use EMDR therapy because it gives us a structured way to help your body and brain process what you've been holding, not just talk about it. We don't rush toward the hard parts. We start by building a real felt sense of safety first, so the deeper work has somewhere steady to stand (and so you're not white-knuckling it through the week).
If you're tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop and are ready to do the work underneath the surface to feel better, I'd be happy to talk with you about where you are and whether the work I do feels like a fit.
Education & Experience
I earned my master's degree in clinical mental health in 2018, and I've been working with trauma survivors for over ten years, including in the years before licensure. That long runway matters to me, because trauma work asks a clinician to be steady, and steadiness comes from time in the room.
I completed my EMDR basic training in 2021 and became an EMDRIA Certified Therapist in 2024, which involves additional consultation and demonstrated competency beyond basic training. I've also pursued Somatic Integration and Processing (Level One) training in early 2024, which deepens the body-based, nervous-system-focused way I already work.
