About Me

I specialize in helping adults heal from complex trauma, attachment wounds, dissociation, and the lasting effects of overwhelming life experiences. I believe that slowing down is often the fastest path to meaningful trauma recovery. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing is not about moving faster—it is about creating enough safety, connection, and nervous system capacity for meaningful and lasting change to occur.
Because trauma affects both the mind and the body, I believe therapy should provide enough time to move beyond simply talking about experiences. I primarily offer 90-minute therapy sessions, allowing us to slow down, work at the pace of your nervous system, and thoughtfully integrate EMDR therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches, body-centered psychotherapy, Polyvagal-informed interventions, and other evidence-based trauma treatments. The extended session also provides adequate time for grounding, processing, and intentional closure so that you leave feeling more regulated and connected before returning to your day.
With more than 30 years of clinical experience, I have dedicated my career to working with individuals affected by complex trauma, attachment injuries, and chronic stress. I have extensive advanced training in trauma treatment and am an EMDR Certified Therapist, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training (CIT), and a clinical educator. My work integrates EMDR therapy, structural dissociation frameworks, attachment theory, phase-oriented trauma treatment, psychodynamic perspectives, and somatic approaches to help clients better understand themselves, increase emotional resilience, and move toward lasting healing.
Whether you are seeking therapy for unresolved trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or feeling stuck despite years of therapy, my goal is to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and individualized therapeutic experience where healing can unfold at a pace that respects both your story and your nervous system.
Unlike many traditional therapy practices, I intentionally structure my practice around 90-minute sessions. Complex trauma often cannot be rushed. Longer sessions allow time to slow down, regulate the nervous system, integrate mind and body, engage in trauma processing when appropriate, and conclude each session with grounding and reconnection before returning to daily life.
