About Me
Karen Epstein is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified EMDR Therapist and a EMDR Consultant in Training. As a individual, couples and trauma therapist she provides a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to process their emotions, and develop skills to manage stress; improve their relationships; and heal from difficult life experiences. She utilizes different evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of her clients. Karen is licensed in both Maryland and Virginia.

JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Certified EMDR Therapist National Certified Counselor Board Approved Clinical Supervisor Karen specializes in working with clients struggling with complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and maternal health issues. She also has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
