About Me

Karen Epstein is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also a Certified EMDR Therapist and a Maryland Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). As a individual, couples and trauma therapist she provides a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to process their emotions, and develop skills to manage stress; improve their relationships; and heal from difficult life experiences. She utilizes different evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of her clients. Karen is licensed in both Maryland and Virginia.

She also has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
