About Me
With over 25 years of experience working with families in Canada and the UK, I have opened a new clinic which specializes in supporting adults, and especially parents, to heal their own trauma history —including intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, and intergenerational trauma. I use EMDR to help you untangle stuck memories and support your nervous system to feel safe again. I provide an inclusive space where difficult questions are asked softly, helping parents and individuals process past stressors to build gentle, confident, and joyful connections in the present. In-person and virtual sessions available.
Education & Experience
My initial social work training was at the Unversity of British Columbia. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Social Work from King's College London (UK) and certifications in Systemic (Family) Practice, EMDR, Theraplay™️, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™️.
