About Me

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and have been a psychotherapist for over 15 years. I’ve worked with adults of all ages and backgrounds to address issues ranging from relationship struggles, family of origin issues, trauma, difficulties with food and body image, challenges with life transitions, LGBTQ issues, depression and anxiety.

This life has been a gift and an adventure. For me that’s included Peace Corps service, travel, marriage, being a step mom, sister, social activist, artist, friend, dog lover and nomad. I’m currently settled in Gulfport, Florida and spend summers in Minnesota.

Education & Experience

I have a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of St Thomas and the Universty of St Catherine. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient mental health treatment, outpatient day treatment and therapy at an eating disorders clinic and was in private practice in Minneapolis Minnesota for 8 years. I have been extensive training in EMDR and it is an essential modality in my work with clients. I recently became licensed in the State of Florida and I provide exclusively on line psychotherapy services to clients in both Florida and Minnesota.
