About Me
Life is full of ups, downs, twists and turns that are often unexpected, confusing, challenging, wonderful and even painful. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe and seen for who they are. I work on my relationship and connection to my client in order to promote growth and support them in reaching their goals. I support, develop and enhance a variety of coping strategies to help clients feel present and manage stress responses. Education & Experience
I received my Masters of Science from California State University, Chico and graduated with honors. After completing my education I began working in residential care for children with complex trauma and eventually became a co-supervisor for the mental health department of the program. Since my time in residential, I began a private practice to continue to service children, teens and young adults who have experienced trauma, grief and life challenges.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I have an extensive background in working with children, teens and young adults that struggle with mental health challenges and trauma and began my career working in residential care with children with complex trauma. Supporting children, teens, young adults and families who want to grow through their current challenges, is my passion and commitment. Conditions addressed include depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, adolescence, attachment, and parenting struggles.
