Hello, I'm Katelyn (Katie) Monday [she/her], and I'm honored to be your guide on your mental health journey. Nestled in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, I am the proud owner of Caring Mind Counseling PLLC. With a deep passion for helping others, I am committed to providing personalized and compassionate therapy to support your overall well-being. have concentrated my efforts in the area of addiction counseling and mental health counseling. My primary approach to counseling centers on EMDR therapy, blended with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and animal-assisted interventions to support healing in a holistic way. I offer animal assisted therapy with my psychiatric facility dog named Bosh. I am trained in EMDR therapy. When appropriate, I may integrate creative and eco-based approaches to deepen the healing process alongside Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) to support your journey. I spend my time savoring fantasy books, playing cozy video games, hiking with my two pups, doing outdoor yoga, making arts and crafts, and embracing the wonders of the great outdoors.
