Online Therapy

About Me

Katie got into counseling because she genuinely wants to make the world a healthier, more joyful, more inclusive place. She believes that this will be done through a ripple effect which starts with individual healing and wellness. When an individual becomes well, their wellness will positively impact those they come into contact with: friends, a partner, children, extended family, neighbors, strangers. And so the ripple begins: those who were impacted will impact others. The journey to wellness is essential for an individual’s joy, and it is essential for the world.

Education & Experience

Katie is a licensed professional counselor in Idaho and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Boise State University. Her work is grounded in internal family systems (IFS), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and mindfulness. She is currently working with individuals ages 16 and older. Ponderosa Practice operates primarily through Telehealth services.
