About Me
I have worked in mental health services for many years. Family therapy and crisis work were my first jobs as a counselor. Several years ago, I transitioned from family work to individual therapy, with a focus on trauma. I believe that people are resilient and have the answers within but may need guidance uncovering them. I have found EMDR to be accessible and effective, and I often use Internal Family Systems as a way to better understand self. My clients willingness to try and experience therapy inspires me to work hard and learn more.
Education & Experience
I am a graduate of Boston College and Salem State University. My career began in community mental health doing in-home family therapy. I moved onto working as a consultant with law enforcement providing guidance to departments on mental health issues in the community. My private practice allows me to connect with individuals and provide treatment for various mental health diagnoses. I am trauma informed and use interventions such as EMDR, IFS, and EFT.
