About Me
As a therapist, I am a compassionate witness to your story, helping you to heal, grow and thrive. I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where you can embark on a transformative journey towards empowerment, resilience and wholeness. I hold a deep belief in the inherent resilience of the human spirit and its capacity to heal from even the most challenging experiences. Whether you're facing past traumas, anxiety, life stressors, or any other emotional difficulties, I am here to guide you towards healing and recovery using various trauma-informed modalities.
Education & Experience
I’m a Houston native who went west for my education, receiving my Bachelor’s in International Studies and Spanish at Pepperdine University, and completing my Master’s in Social Work at University of Southern California with an emphasis in Children, Youth and Families. I’ve lived and traveled throughout Latin America and am passionate about providing services in Spanish as a bilingual clinician. I began my career in California working in community-based services that have ranged from settings such as residential treatment facilities, intensive home-based services, foster care, and adoption. I came back to my hometown of Houston a few years ago and continue to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in youth and young adult mental health and trauma.
