About Me
Hi there, I'm Kati! I’ve been working in the field of mental health for over 7 years. My early experiences consisted of supporting children and adolescents in crisis. I’d like to say that these positions, as well as having my own life experiences, have given me an edge in understanding the complexities of mental health and the human experience. Over time, my care for helping others expanded to an enthusiasm for working with people of all ages. I currently work with ages 11 years old and up. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is an intervention used to treat trauma. I specialize in treating PTSD, self-harm, depression and anxiety disorders. I view concerns through a trauma-informed lens and take a person-centered approach, pulling from a myriad of interventions to best support the person in front of me. This might be your first time seeking a therapist or maybe you haven't found that right fit. Regardless of your situation, I congratulate you on taking this step. Seeking support can be a challenge in itself! Feel free to reach out to the phone number listed on my profile or send me an email to set up services.
