About Me
Voted Best of Fairfax in Counseling for 2021. I believe in a holistic approach that focuses on a patient's strengths. I am a trauma informed therapist and have been in the mental health field for over 18 years. I work with my clients to develop a treatment plan that will address the whole person and their specific needs. I specialize in EMDR, Brainspotting, trauma, and the psychological symptoms related to Lyme and autoimmune disease. I am EMDR certified and an EMDRIA approved consultant and trainer. I provide individual consultation for EMDR certification. I have advanced EMDR training in integrating somatic psychotherapy with EMDR (Natural Processing). I am offering both in person and virtual sessions and am licensed in both VA and MD. I also have credits in lay counseling and am comfortable counseling from a faith-based perspective and incorporating prayer when it fits my client’s existing beliefs and needs.
