About Me
I am an EMDR Certified clinician and registered yoga instructor specializing in trauma and CPTSD. I firmly believe in our body and mind's innate ability to heal, and am honored to guide my clients through this process. Our sessions are heavily focused on EMDR, but we may also incorporate mindfulness, CBT and yoga in sessions if welcomed. Through an individualized, somatic and holistic lens, we will focus on healing from past experiences, find peace, and open up space for personal growth. While at the office, you may encounter my sweet, lazy Newfoundland, Ralphie. He loves to get a couple pets and sleep the day away while we work together. Education & Experience
I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with my Masters in Clinical Social Work in 2012. I've spent the last 13 years in private practice, between working for/eventually supervising a group practice in the Chicagoland area, to opening my own group in 2019. I currently supervise 6 wonderful, talented clinicians on my team, with a special emphasis on EMDR and somatic work. I was first trained in EMDR in 2014, and have since completed the Certification process. I am finalizing my Approved Consultant process as of December 2023.
