Dr. Katie L. Steele, Ph.D.

EMDR Certified Therapist

EMDR Consultant

About Me

I identify myself as a relationship therapist since so much of our happiness is a result of how well our relationships are working, including relationships with family, lovers, work, self, substances, or a higher power. We learn how to do relationships in our first family and schooling, and patterns are set in place that can be unhealthy and hard to overcome. EMDR can be so helpful in finding and uprooting the negative patterns that interfere with our ability to be happy. I also specialize in group therapy which is another powerful experience to aid in healing those early wounds. Finally, I work with neurofeedback with LENS, which facilitates that healing at the neurological level.
