Education & Experience

I began my work in the mental health field over two decades ago upon moving to Vermont to work at a Wilderness Therapy camp for youth with complex trauma and severe behavioral issues, including sexually harmful behaviors. I attended the University of Vermont's Masters in Counseling program and graduated in 2006. I have worked in various roles at Chittenden County's designated mental health center, HowardCenter; including, School Services Clinician, Group Therapy Facilitator, Outpatient Clinician, Clinical Supervisor, Psychosexual Evaluator and Clinical Consultant. I have been in private practice for 5 years and employ EMDR, Mindfulness, and Somatic processing techniques to assist client's in moving through difficult times and processing past stressors and traumas in order to heal in the present and look forward to their futures.
