About Me
As a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and other emotional challenges to lead fulfilling lives. With a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Development and additional training in trauma-focused therapies, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I am committed to providing evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique needs, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where healing can take place. My approach integrates principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, and EMDR to address underlying issues and promote lasting positive change. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a collaborative partnership with my clients, honoring their strengths and resilience as they navigate their healing journey. In my work with clients, I have witnessed the transformative effects of EMDR in helping individuals process traumatic memories, alleviate distressing symptoms, and cultivate a sense of empowerment and resilience. Whether you are struggling with past trauma, anxiety, phobias, or other challenges, I am here to offer compassionate support and guidance every step of the way. I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care for my clients. My ultimate goal is to help individuals reclaim their lives, restore their sense of well-being, and thrive in all areas of life. If you are ready to embark on a journey of healing and transformation, I invite you to take the first step toward a brighter future. Together, we can unlock your inner strength and resilience to create a life filled with hope, purpose, and joy.
