About Me

Kayla has been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. She began her career working with children and families with a focus on supporting those who have experienced trauma and household dysfunction. In 2020, Kayla's experiences as a new mother coupled with the limited mental health resources for postpartum parents in Northern Minnesota spurred a new passion and she became a Certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist. Kayla has a special interest in working with birthing people who have experienced birth trauma, perinatal grief and loss, as well postpartum depression and anxiety.
