Education & Experience

My mental health experience and training as been developed in a variety of treatment settings. I have practiced in the acute settings of inpatient hospitalization and emergency department evaluation and treatment. Additionally, I have worked in partial hospitalization treatment, comprehensive and intensive outpatient treatment and outpatient private practice. I have a MA in Counseling and a BA in Psychology both from UNCC. I continue to seek professional development trainings to increase my efficacy with clients. These opportunities have deepened my understanding and experience in working with mental health and substance abuse.
