Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and graduated in 2014 with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. My professional experience encompasses therapy with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples working through a variety of issues including emotion regulation, relationship stressors, difficulty communicating, anxiety, trauma, depression, eating disorders and behavioral issues. I am comfortable providing care to a wide range of individuals from a variety of backgrounds. I started my career working with children and adolescents in community mental health. Through this experience, I was able to work with a range of cultural experiences and contextual backgrounds. I’ve held positions as a milieu counselor and primary therapist at The Eating Recovery Center of Washington, a treatment facility for people struggling with eating disorders. In 2017, I opened my private practice in Tukwila, Washington. I have completed EMDR basic training in 2018 and am EMDR certification through EMDRIA. This requires extensive additional trainings and consultation with experts in the field.
