About Me

Hello! I I believe that all of us can benefit from additional support in different seasons of our lives. It takes bravery to reach out and meet with someone, and I’m passionate about building a relationship with my clients where they are able to engage with their own resilience and innate ability to heal. Many of us develop patterns that have helped us move through and cope with what we have experienced, and often, we realize these strategies are no longer serving us, and keep us from experiencing the full life we desire. I walk alongside my clients in helping them become reconnected to their true selves, and reach their goals. My areas of clinical focus are trauma, as well as anxiety, depression and interpersonal issues. I am certified in EMDR, and am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and also incorporate mindfulness, parts work, and other interventions to help clients process their experiences, decrease upsetting symptoms, and develop skills and resources that allow them to heal and thrive. I find that reaching out is often the most difficult part. I strive to create a safe and trusting space within my office where clients feel comfortable. My approach is integrated and holistic, and tailored to each individual client. I look forward to speaking with you to determine if I am a good fit!

Education & Experience

I received my MSW from NYU in 2008. Since that time, I worked for 10 years in New York City in schools and organizations specializing in treating many forms of trauma. After moving to Nashville, I began working at the Sexual Assault Center, serving as Clinical Director. I transitioned to private practice work fully in Fall 2019. In addition to EMDR, I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, which has provided significant enhancement in my work with clients.
