Dr. Kiesa Kelly, PhD

Preferred Name: Kiesa
About Me
After a 16-year career as a psychology professor and department chair, Dr. Kelly decided to return to the practice of psychology in 2023 and launched ScienceWorks Behavioral Healthcare.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of ScienceWorks Behavioral Healthcare. I work with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism.
Many of the people I see have spent a long time feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood. My goal is to provide a space that feels both supportive and effective—where we can make sense of what you’ve been experiencing and find a way forward that actually works for you.
As an EMDR-trained therapist, I help clients process distressing experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable, while also building practical skills for everyday life. My approach is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in evidence-based care. I also take a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, helping clients better understand themselves and develop strategies that fit how they function best.
My focus is on helping you feel more grounded, more in control, and better able to move toward the life you want.
