About Me
Clients often describe me as warm and down-to-earth. My approach is creative, integrative, and practical. I have over twenty-five years of experience with individuals, couples, and families. I've worked in clinical, educational, inpatient, residential, and non-profit settings. I have additional training and experience in organizational/industrial psychology, I provide consultation to other community professionals. I've been in private practice since 2006, launching my own practice in 2011. Please refer to my website at www.carolinacounselingpsychology.com for more details and information! Kim says she has both a creative and integrative approach to therapy. She laughs as she says “Sometimes we talk…other times we might be doing planks.” Kidding aside, her goal is help her clients work themselves right out of therapy and needing her. Getting healthy and independent is the main objective. Kim is the owner of Carolina Counseling Psychology, LLC. She recived a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver.
