Kimberly McGhee, ATR-BC, LPC

About Me

I am a clinically trained EMDR therapist working toward certification, a board-certified and registered art therapist, and a licensed professional counselor in York, PA. I am dedicated to supporting individuals just like you. Utilizing diverse trauma processing techniques, mindfulness practices, avenues for creative expression, and non-verbal/bottom-up approaches, I empower my clients to recognize their strengths, alleviate PTSD symptoms, gain insight, and improve self-esteem.

Education & Experience

Having obtained an MA in Art Therapy from Saint Mary-of-The-Woods College and a BFA from Kutztown University, I integrate art therapy and expressive therapies with EMDR to facilitate comprehensive healing. Currently pursuing certification as an EMDRIA EMDR therapist and certified in Forward Facing Trauma Therapy®, I have extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including servicemembers, their families, and first responders, addressing both simple and complex trauma.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am a member of EMDRIA and belong to the national and local chapters of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA).
