About Me
Ms. Kimberly Ward is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, and West Virginia. Ms. Ward has a background with working primarily in child welfare, as well as providing individual and family therapy in the school setting and at mental health agencies. A graduate from University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work, which she has been very passionate about providing services to children, adolescents, and adults as a Social Worker. Ms. Ward specializes in working with individuals who are diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and loss and grief. Ms. Ward does work from models of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TF-CBT, Strengths Based, REBT, EMDR, Solution Focused, Brainspotting, and Problem Solving. Ms. Ward also utilizes play therapy and mindfulness as other forms of intervention in working with clients. Ms. Ward is an approved supervisor through the Maryland Board of Social Work to provide supervision for Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), a Registered Play Therapist through the Association for Play Therapy, a 2020 Association for Play Therapy Leadership Academy Graduate, and is a Certified Reiki Master.
