Education & Experience
In addition to my Master's degree in education, I also hold a Master's degree in Social Work and have over a decade of experience in the field of trauma healing. As a licensed independent clinical social worker, I am licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. My extensive education and experience in social work have provided me with a deep understanding of how trauma can impact individuals and communities. I have honed my skills in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Certification in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Trauma (CBT-T), Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality(CAMS). Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds who have experienced a range of traumas, including domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, and natural disasters. My approach to trauma healing is always client-centered, and I work collaboratively with each of my clients to identify their unique needs and goals. I believe that every individual has the innate capacity for healing and growth, and my role as a trauma therapist is to provide the support, guidance, and tools necessary for this process. By incorporating sensory integration techniques, affirming and strengths-based approaches, and evidence-based interventions, I am able to empower my clients to overcome the impact of trauma and find a greater sense of resilience and well-being.
