About Me

Kora Jones is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist. Kora has experience working with children and teens ages 2 thru 16 years of age at a private practice, community mental health center, and in school-based settings. Her primary areas of interest include treating trauma, dissociation, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and LGBTQIA+ youth using a variety of therapeutic interventions including but not limited to Play Therapy, EMDR Therapy, expressive arts, and Sandtray. Kora has completed an Advanced Certificate in Complex Trauma and Dissociation with The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. Kora is currently working towards EMDR certification with EMDRIA.
