About Me
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in treating women with trauma, anxiety, and perinatal mental health challenges. I help women find balance, strength, and resilience, whether it’s navigating the complexities of womanhood, dealing with trauma, or addressing specific conditions such as anxiety disorders. As a certified perinatal mental health professional, I provide a safe space for new and expecting mothers to unpack their feelings, confront any underlying issues, and develop coping strategies to embrace this significant life transition. As a certified EMDR therapist, I believe that many of our current struggles can be linked to distressing or traumatic experiences from the past that haven't been fully processed. These unresolved memories can influence how you feel and react today. Using EMDR, we'll address and process these memories with bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or tones). I also use Brainspotting, a method that taps into your body's innate ability to heal itself by locating spots in your visual field to help process trauma.
