Kyle Brown, LCSW

(They/Them.)

Online Therapy

About Me

Kyle has extensive experience serving those within the BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ communities by working in multiple clinical settings that privilege providing services to those within BIPOC and/or LGBT communities. With experience and extensive training, Kyle developed a therapeutic style that draws awareness to the mind and the body to help clients process, help clients learn more about themselves, and help clients have more choices to respond versus react.

Education & Experience

Kyle received their Masters at Columbia University School of Social Work, where they specialized in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice and focused my concentration on Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities. Kyle has received multiple post-graduate psychotherapy trainings, and Kyle has facilitated discussions and workshops.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

In addition to providing EMDR therapy, Kyle is a part of the Board Directors for the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society (EGPS), assists in Somatic Experiencing trainings as a SE assistant, is an approved SE provider for beginning level students who need to complete their personal session requirements, and is a member of a consortium of therapists and professionals in New York City (racialliteracygroups.com) working together to facilitate critical consciousness and cross racial conversations.
