About Me
Kyle A. Lewis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor practicing in San Diego, California. Early in his educational journey Kyle had the opportunity to travel to Boston, Massachusetts to attend The International Trauma Conference hosted by Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk as part of a research team studying the effects of trauma on undergraduate student success rates. Since then Kyle has dedicated his practice to assist clients who present with complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. Kyle’s approaches combine his trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Education & Experience
Kyle received his Masters of Science in Professional Clinical Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to attending his master’s program, Kyle conferred a Bachelors of Art’s in Psychology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
