About Me
I worked for the Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute (TI & CTI) for 10+ years in roles including: senior trauma therapist and consultant, program director, and state director. I maintain a relationship with TICTI, but have ventured off to run my own business - Coastal Waters Healing Center. I am certified in EMDR and am an EMDR consultant. I am also a registered yoga teacher and a certified intensive trauma therapy provider and integrative mental health professional. I am licensed to practice in NC, CA, and MA.
Education & Experience
I began my career in the mental health field in 2009, after leaving active duty Army service as a Psychological Operations Noncommissioned Officer (NCO). I received my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from New England College in 2012. I expect to finish my PhD from Saybrook University in December 2024. I have extensive training in complex and attachment trauma as well as a graduate level clinical psychology certificate in treatment of complex trauma.

I am most actively affiliated with ISSTD, EMDRIA, and IONS. I am currently a volunteer for Team Rubicon. I also volunteer locally in my community.
