About Me
I absolutely love counseling. Not only have I benefited myself from having met with a counselor, but I also get a front row seat to what's possible in the therapy room through my own work with my clients. Real transformation is possible and I consider myself so lucky to be a part of this process with people. I'm married to a counselor who I love processing all things mental health-related with! I also love music, Marvel comics, reading novels, and playing guitar.
Education & Experience
I graduated from Denver Seminary in 2018 with an MA in Clinical Mental Health. I worked as an intern at a facility called National Institute for Change where I facilitated groups for clients who were court-ordered to attend therapy for a substance abuse charge and/or a domestic violence offense. I worked at Cornerstone Christian Counseling from 2018 to 2023 and primarily worked with adult individuals who come in for counseling for addictions, anxiety, PTSD, depression, or spiritual/relational hurts. In 2024 I have joined a practice called My Denver Therapy which specializes in several different therapies to help improve mental health.
