About Me

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist and EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ in San Diego, and EMDR is the heart of my practice. I love working with Gen Z and Millennial adults who understand where their patterns come from, yet still feel the effects of early childhood experiences, attachment wounds, and trauma, and feel ready to do the deeper work.

As an EMDR psychologist, I bring doctoral-level training, along with advanced training in EMDR for complex trauma. As a depth-focused therapist, we take time to understand the root of symptoms and build stability and readiness before any EMDR work. You’re always in control and we go at the pace that works for you and nervous system.

I offer therapy session in person in San Diego and online across California and Hawai'i. I also offer EMDR intensives, held in person in San Diego, for people who want longer, focused sessions.

My Background

I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego. My training included Sharp Mesa Vista Psychiatric Hospital, The Winston School of Del Mar, the University of San Diego Counseling Center, and the Center for Applied Psychological Services. I completed an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at I Ola Lāhui Rural Hawai'i Behavioral Health in Honolulu, Aiea, and Kahuku, then a postdoctoral fellowship at Deep Eddy Psychotherapy in Austin, Texas, a private practice specializing in experiential therapies. I opened Inspired Psychology in 2019.

In session, I bring my natural warmth, empathy, and genuine care, so you feel heard and understood. I've loved this work for over 20 years, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
