Ms. Laura Jackson, RN. BScN. MN. CPMHN(C). NBC-HWC.
(She/Her)
About Me
I am a Registered Nurse (RN), EMDR Therapist, certified in psychiatric and mental health nursing with the Canadian Nurses Association and a board-certified health and wellness coach with the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. I have over 15 years of experience in mental health and use empirically supported approaches to care.
I offer holistic, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and an integrative therapeutic approach to help clients develop coping skills, manage distress, enhance their relationships and mental wellness.
In a compassionate environment, I help clients explore challenges and to grow into who they want to become. I also have extensive training and experience in stress management, self-compassion, mindfulness and nervous system regulation and incorporate these interventions into coaching, counselling and psychotherapy.
I believe that there is no one-size fits all approach. I will work with you to determine your goals and we will develop a plan that meets your needs.
I look forward to working with you,
Laura
(Please note. Many insurance providers cover psychotherapy provided by a RN, please check with your insurance provider).
