About Me

I am a Licensed Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist in Orange County, California. I have been in private practice for nearly 30 years, working with individuals, couples, and families. I work collaboratively with my clients to address a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. Since 2001, I have served as a Professor at Hope International University, where I also serve as the Dean of the College of Psychology and Counseling since 2009.

Education & Experience

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from CSU Long Beach, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Hope International University, and a Doctor of Psychology from Alliant International University. I was trained in EMDR in 1995. I am currently certified in EMDR, an Approved Consultant and an EMDRIA Approved Trainer in EMDR. I served 6 years on the EMDRIA Board of Directors. Since 2007, I have conducted training in EMDR to both graduate students in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at HIU and licensed clinicians. I am also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
