About Me
I have been a practicing social worker for over 30 years. It has been a privilege and a joy to sit with people in deep and profound conversations in hopes of making their lives better. Just like many of my clients, I am my better self in concert with others, when I believe I can make a difference, and I never tire of supporting a change process when someone is ready to grow!
Education & Experience
I received my Master's in Social Work from Simmons College in 1989. I have worked with kids, teenagers, adults, couples and families in residential and hospital programs as well as in outpatient mental health settings, and in private practice for the last 16 years. I have taught at the graduate level and supervised clinicians individually and in groups. I have trained in Narrative and Family Systems therapies, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Reiki and EMDR,
