About Me

Thank you for considering my services. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I am Certified in EMDR and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant (AC). My background is in Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR. I work well with clients from many different backgrounds and presenting issues, including those with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, life changes, and more. Clients that may also be a good fit could be creative types, neurodivergent, children, teens, college-aged, therapists, adults, and more. I also am passionate about offering consultation groups for EMDR clinicians who serve these populations and more. EMDR is a treatment I chose to specialize in because it can help clients to diffuse an emotional charge around a trauma in a different way than traditional talk therapy. When clients are able to reduce an emotional charge, clients will often report they feel better -- less anxiety, have improved mood, or "feel more like myself". This may help them to function more effectively in their daily life. I am accepting EMDR consultees who have taken EMDRIA-approved Basic Training and are seeking to be certified in EMDR or would just like to improve their skills in a supportive, engaging learning environment. I offer individual and group consultation. My groups are held several days monthly. Please reach out to me to get more information.
