About Me

Many of us have learned to alter or abandon parts of ourselves. This can show up in negative self talk, unsatisfying relationships, overwhelmed nervous systems, chronic pain or illness, or reactions that feel out of control or not in alignment for us. Sometimes this comes from patterns in our families, trauma, or oppression. I am here for people of all kinds who want to reconnect with themselves and with others. Therapy with me is a blend of talk therapy and, if appropriate, EMDR. I believe that having a safe and nonjudgmental space to process life stressors can be a truly transformative experience. I work alongside my clients to help deepen their self-understanding so that they may feel empowered to create the positive changes they want to see in their lives. Together we will learn how trauma has affected you throughout your life and how you may be holding on to it today. We will also focus on your strengths - observing how your accomplishments and values are serving you now and will for the future.
